As the fighting continues in Gaza, the Palestinian militant group, Hamas, is sending a delegation to Cairo. There is speculation that Egypt is trying to mediate a solution. Israel has said its military offensive in Gaza is aimed at ending Hamas cross-border rocket fire. What's less clear is Hamas's strategy.
China wants to attract three million tourists to Tibet this year. That's despite China's continued pressure on ethnic Tibetans following last spring's riots in Tibet. The newspaper business is in trouble and not just here in the United States. Frances's newspaper industry is also struggling and French President Nicolas Sarkozy is hopes to revitalize it. |
